Proposition 115 is an intentionally confusing ballot measure to ban abortion later in pregnancy, with no exceptions for health or individual circumstances. Proponents of this ballot measure have said outright they want to force a woman to carry a pregnancy to term — even in cases of rape, risks to the woman’s health, or a lethal fetal diagnosis.
Let’s be clear: PROP 115 IS ANOTHER ABORTION BAN.
This one-size-fits-all mandate ignores the uniqueness of each pregnancy, and allows politics to dictate personal health decisions that should be made by a woman and her family, in consultation with her doctors.
It does not take into account the unique circumstances each woman may face throughout pregnancy. Health needs should drive important medical decisions — not politics.
Help protect Colorado’s access to abortion care. VOTE NO ON PROP 115.
Prop 115 is a one-size-fits-all mandate that ignores the uniqueness of each pregnancy and allows politics to dictate personal health decisions that should be left to patients and their doctors.
Prop 115 does not include exceptions for the health of the woman, lethal fetal diagnoses, or in cases of rape or incest.
Colorado voters have consistently rejected attempts to ban abortion, including three other abortion bans that have failed at the ballot in the past 12 years.
